NEW DANCE SPACE FOR PRIVATE LESSONS, GOING ON NOW

Kim and I are now able to teach private lessons and semi-private lessons at our new home in Manchester. We have a beautiful space: clean and elegant. Though we can not teach groups as large as we were able to accomodate at the Mill-A-Round, we can take up to three couples per lesson. Give a call 603-624-0729 or email manchestertango@hotmail.com to set up a lesson. Currently, the rate per lesson is $65 for the first couple, plus $10 each extra person, up to six people per lesson.

What we are hearing from our beginner AT dancers is that many of them prefer to work privately as they feel they can avoid the insecurities and exposure that come with dancing in larger groups. The more experienced dancers say that they get more information out of them and that they are just more fun!Because there has been continued interest in our continuation of classes, and we have already begun holding private lessons in the new space this month, I felt I ought to post this information on my site.

For those of you interested in group classes, check back here in September as we will be renewing our group classes at Let's Dance in Concord, NH.

This is our last class of the season at Let's Dance before summer break.
We will review our two new variations on the eight step box with partial giros, and then make sure we get the paradas in there. Then, a couple more figures combining the eight-step and giros. Keep practicing throughout the summer, and let's hope there will be a second intermediate class in the fall.

Depending on who shows up, we may review "cambio de frente" and the traveling turn down the line of dance. We may also stick to basic basics, so be prepared to review fundamentals.
